If you find yourself in Leek, the Green Man gives a unique blend of comfort and economic sensibility. My stay began with a warm welcome from Paul, who provided excellent eating recommendations. The rooms, including my cosy single, feature a private entrance and a well-kept environment. While it's located near the main road, the soundproofing was commendable, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. Amenities like a flat-screen TV and complimentary tea and coffee facilities enhance the room, although Wi-Fi might not meet everyone's expectations. A notable advantage is the included full English breakfast, which includes local delights. The added benefit of free parking made it a practical choice. In terms of value, the Green Man stands out as a worthy option. While it may not have the lavish charm of high-end resorts, it offers a solid foundation for a relaxing stay. Ideal for conscious travelers.
